AZOO PLUS 4 in 1 Active Filter is a high-performance bio-chemical filtering material for all types of freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
Provides a synergistic combination of 4 filtering materials with excellent properties.
Active Filter: Far Infrared, Silver Ion, Calcium & Magnesium Ion, and Anion Active Filter.
Excellent for all types of submerged and percolation filters.
For freshwater aquariums, planted aquariums, ponds, saltwater, and reefs.
AZOO 4 in 1 Active Filter is a specific and high-performance chemical filtering medium, with an effective decomposition rate and surface area exceeding traditional filtering materials by 400 times.
It synergistically combines the four compounds from the Active Filter line: Far Infrared, Silver Ion, Calcium & Magnesium Ion, and Anion Active Filter.
It is produced using a new sintering technology at high temperatures, achieving low specific gravity, maximum porosity, excellent hydrophilic properties (HRT), and low unit weight.
It promotes the renewal of the bacterial colony, improving the metabolism of beneficial bacteria. This product is recyclable as substrate for plants.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
– Each liter of this product treats 50 liters of water.
– Briefly rinse this product before use.
– Replace Active Filter every 12 months.
OBSERVATIONS:
To ensure proper operation and a lifespan of up to 12 months, please consider the following observations:
– Place Active Filter in a forced flow filter equipped with a circulation pump so that the water flows evenly through the material with a sufficient water flow rate.
As a rough guide, a 100-liter aquarium requires 2 liters of Active Filter and an approximate flow rate of 300 liters per hour. It can be used in hang-on-back filters, under-gravel filters, trickle filters (Wet-Dry), reactors, or basket filters, with the latter two being the most recommended.
– Due to its structure and properties, Active Filter is classified as a chemical filtering medium. This implies that it acts through thousands of extremely small micro-pores capable of absorbing substances dissolved in water.
However, these pores can easily become saturated with larger dirt particles from the aquarium waste, hindering the free flow of water through its structure and seriously affecting its beneficial properties.
To avoid this inconvenience, you should keep this filtering medium away from larger dirt particles that can be sucked into the filter.
To do this, observe the direction of water flow entering the filter and place Active Filter in second position, after mechanical filtering materials such as filter sponges and other similar filtering media.
– Before starting a treatment for diseases, anti-snails, or anti-algae with chemical agents, you should remove Active Filter to prevent it from absorbing these compounds, neutralizing the treatment and rendering it unusable for subsequent use.
At the end of the treatment, remove any possible chemical residues with a partial water change and use activated carbon before placing Active Filter back.
CAUTION:
– DO NOT INGEST, IF INGESTED, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
– KEEP PRODUCT AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS.
